Rooted in Community.
Growing Through Connection.
At Seeds of Liberation CDC, we believe every individual deserves the opportunity to grow, every family deserves support in strengthening their connections, and every community deserves the resources to thrive.
Rooted in Indigenous values and welcoming people of all backgrounds, we are cultivating pathways toward family restoration, meaningful employment, self-determination, and lasting community stability.
Because when we invest in people, we strengthen generations.
Welcome to Seeds of Liberation CDC
Rooted in Community. Growing Opportunity. Restoring Connection.
Seeds of Liberation CDC is a community-centered nonprofit dedicated to strengthening families, expanding opportunities, and creating pathways toward restoration, stability, and self-determination.
Guided by Indigenous teachings, diverse cultural perspectives, and the knowledge that comes from lived experience, our work centers individuals and families impacted by incarceration, family separation, economic hardship, and systemic barriers.
We are especially committed to supporting Indigenous, Black, and Brown communities who have experienced disproportionate impacts from these systems, while welcoming individuals and families of all cultural backgrounds.
Through meaningful relationships, culturally responsive approaches, and community collaboration, we are working to cultivate opportunities for individuals and families to reconnect, rebuild, and thrive.
Because lasting change begins when communities grow together.
Who We Are
At Seeds of Liberation CDC, we believe people are more than the circumstances they have experienced.
Our organization was established with the understanding that systemic barriers, family separation, incarceration, and economic hardship can have lasting impacts on individuals, families, and entire communities.
We believe meaningful change begins when people are met with dignity, their strengths are recognized, and opportunities are created for healing, growth, and self-determination.
Rooted in Indigenous values of interconnectedness, collective responsibility, and respect for all people, Seeds of Liberation CDC welcomes individuals and families from every background.
Our work is grounded in a simple belief: Everyone deserves the opportunity to grow, belong, and build a meaningful future.

Our Approach: Rooted in Relationships
We recognize that meaningful change cannot be measured solely by participation in a program or completion of a service.
It is reflected in the relationships people rebuild, the skills they develop, the opportunities they access, and the sense of belonging they experience within their communities.
Our approach is grounded in cultural responsiveness, lived expertise, professional knowledge, accountability, and respect for individual self-determination.
We believe people deserve to be active participants in shaping their futures, not simply recipients of services.
We walk alongside individuals and families, recognizing their strengths while helping cultivate opportunities for lasting growth.
Grow With Us
Meaningful Change Takes Community.
Seeds of Liberation CDC is building relationships with individuals, organizations, businesses, and community members who believe in the power of restoration, opportunity, and collective responsibility.
Whether you are interested in volunteering, sharing professional skills, supporting agricultural initiatives, contributing resources, or exploring community partnerships, there are many ways to help strengthen the foundation of our work.
Together, we can create opportunities that extend beyond individuals and families to benefit generations to come.
Be part of what we're growing.
"We believe every person deserves the opportunity to grow beyond their circumstances — and that communities are strongest when people are supported, not defined by their past."
Six Pathways Toward Stability, Connection, and Collective Wellbeing
At Seeds of Liberation CDC, we recognize that every individual and family carries unique experiences, strengths, and aspirations. There is no single pathway toward stability, restoration, or personal growth.
Our programs are designed to meet people where they are, honor their lived experiences, and create meaningful opportunities for growth through culturally responsive, community-centered support.
Through workforce development, family preservation, family restoration following incarceration, agricultural opportunities, and future housing initiatives, we are building pathways that strengthen individuals, reconnect families, and cultivate healthier communities.
We believe lasting change begins when people are given the opportunity, resources, and support to determine their own futures.
